OUR STORY
It started in a van in Ghana.
“Wouldn’t it be great if we could book a chef like a ride share?”
In May 2025, my family and I took a trip to Ghana. One evening, as I climbed into the van to head to dinner with our tour guide and driver, God gave me an idea, and I said it out loud: “Wouldn’t it be great if we could book a chef the same way you book a ride share?”
When I returned home, the idea stayed with me, but I wasn’t sure how to bring it to life. I’m not a tech person, and building an app felt out of reach. My son tried to help, but it wasn’t quite what I had envisioned, so I set the idea aside.
As I stepped into 2026, unexpected connections began bringing the vision back to life. It started with a conversation at a dog park with a computer science graduate from KSU, the same university my son attends. Then, over a game of pool in Duluth, I met Robert, known to his friends as Mad Dog, who shared that he was developing a website and app for chefs. It felt like the missing piece had finally fallen into place.
On February 11, 2026, we sat down and got to work. Robert began developing the website and app while I focused on building the business. Because the idea was God’s before it was ours, we named the company Kingdom Vision.
Today, that vision lives through Let’s Serve You, bringing the experience of a personal chef into your home, from preparing the first ingredient to washing the last dish, so you can spend less time worrying about the meal and more time enjoying the people around your table.
